The trusted global agency for open-source defence intelligence today welcomes Christopher Light to lead financial operations globally

LONDON – Janes announced today the appointment of Christopher Light as Chief Financial Officer. Christopher will lead financial and legal operations for the company as they continue their evolution into a standalone enterprise.

 “I’m excited to be joining Janes: the trusted global agency for open-source defence intelligence, an impressive brand and a talented team,” said Light. “I’m very much looking forward to the opportunity to help shape and expand the business, and to work closely with the team to build on the company’s extensive legacy.” 

Christopher has more than 20 years’ experience in financial operations, including nine years at Informa – where he first served as Group Financial Controller of UBM plc prior to acquisition, before becoming Chief Financial Officer of the Informa Intelligence division. He previously spent nine years at EY in the Assurance practice.
