London (November) – Janes, the source for foundational military intelligence, announced, the appointment of Jerome Kühnert as Director Business Development NATO and EU.
Kühnert has over 22 years of experience within the defence and public sector domain and more than 15 years of NATO experience. Before joining Janes, he was Senior Sales Director at secunet, where he was the global lead for all NATO activities. Prior to this, he held various senior commercial and operational executive roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Hewlett Packard, and CISCO where he focused on EU markets and NATO institutions.
In his role at Janes, Kühnert will lead global business development and sales activities for NATO and the EU, along with exploring opportunities with strategic business partners that have an interest in serving NATO or who already have a footprint at NATO.
Speaking about his appointment, Kühnert said, “I am delighted to have joined Janes at such a critical time. Given the instability the world is facing, the work Janes is doing for customers is essential, with our trusted and assured open-source intelligence, to support their decision-making processes.”
