Janes presents at Inter-American Defense Board Seminar

As part of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) seminar, managing director and head of the Janes Equipment and Markets Intelligence team Inigo Guevara Moyano will be discussing “The changing role of the Armed Forces and its possibilities to mitigate and confront new threats” at the event on 28 April.  Guevara will provide a review of the changing role of the IADB as well as how armed forces in the Western Hemisphere are adapting to emerging requirements such as pandemic response, internal stability operations, and extra-hemispheric hybrid actors.

“I’m really looking forward to discussing how the IADB’s role has evolved since its foundation in 1942 and transfer to the OAS 15 years ago,” said Guevara Moyano. “I’m also honoured to be the only civilian panellist on the Seminar discussion.”
