Janes analysts win at the 2020 Defence Media Awards

Huge congratulations to Jeremy Binnie, Middle East and North Africa Editor of Janes Defence Weekly for picking up the publication’s second ever John Morrocco Award for in-depth defence reporting. His piece – Divided attention: Gulf air defenders struggle to cover multiple directions.

Further congratulations go out to Janes Naval Consultant Richard Scott, who picked up two awards for pieces penned for Janes Navy International. He picked up the awards for ‘Best Unmanned’ and ‘Best Technology’ submissions.

“I’m delighted to see our journalists honoured at these prestigious awards,” said Sean Howe, head of research and analysis at Janes.  “This is the second time that Janes Defence Weekly has picked up the Morrocco award in its three-year history. Well done to both Jeremy and Richard!”
