Australian firm DroneShield – a specialist in counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) – has partnered with Norwegian company Squarehead, which develops acoustic array systems, in pursuit of contracts with the US military.
DroneShield said on 7 December that the partnership is focused on integrating Squarehead technologies into its existing C-UAS products and offerings.
DroneShield said it has incorporated Squarehead’s direction-finding acoustic system within its airspace awareness, command-and-control, and reporting software to enhance its radio-frequency, radar, and camera-based UAS detection and electronic warfare products.
